Rock Tops is great! We had a travertine countertop installed by them and they did a wonderful job. The finished product looked really nice and was installed well. We did a price comparison between several contractors in Clovis and Lubbock and their prices were among the lowest without having an extremely limited selection of surfaces to chose from. The installers took care to not make a large mess and cleaned up after themselves. Furthermore, after having the countertops installed for about 8 months, our housekeeper used a cleaner that was too harsh and did some damage to the finish. I talked to the owner, Jim and he came out with an employee and the two of them spent over 2 hours fixing it and re-sealing the countertops. They went so far as to remove the sink fixtures in order to apply the sealant and re-installed them perfectly and even fixed one of the handles that had come lose. After all of that, Jim didn't even charge us for it. Honestly, I can't give a stronger recommendation, you won't regret working with these guys.

Terrible customer service - I think because they're the only granite place in town and feel like they can. Have used them twice for kitchen and bath countertops. Kitchen was a disaster because they cut the piece wrong and put the sink hole over the dishwasher, so I was without a sink/dishwasher for another 3 days while they "fixed" their mistake (and no discount for our trouble, mind you). Bathroom countertop has been a total disaster too due to NO communication on their part. Find someone else to do your countertops, even if you have to go a few towns over.
