- The Lodge is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada in Plumas County. We are 45 minutes north of Truckee or one hour north of Lake Tahoe on Highway 89.We are at the base of the Plumas National Forest overlooking the stunning Mohawk Valley. We are only 1 hour coming from Reno, NV (go north on Highway 395 until you get to Highway 70 head west until you get to Highway 89 and head south 7 miles).
