The Parks and Recreation Department of the city of Clintonville, Wis., provides a range of open spaces and parks. Its facilities also include a swimming pool, senior center and outdoor shelters. The department s recreation center houses a pool table, ping-pong tables, color TV, radio and snack machines. Its swimming pool provides classes on fundamental aquatic skills, stroke development, underwater safety, lifeguard readiness and diving. Additionally, the department provides various athletic activities that include baseball, tennis, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, flag football and soccer. It also organizes a winter festival, which holds various indoor and outdoor events that include craft fairs, teen dances, ice skating races and family bowling nights.
