Incredible experience. We were super doubtful going in - but since we were at the end of our rope, and had read such good reviews, we took a chance. Honestly, we couldn't be more pleased. Our situation was pretty tough - we had about 160k in credit card debt, and within one year, we paid it all off at about 50% of the original amount. The Donaldson Williams team was great at communicating every step of the way - and wouldn't make a move on our behalf, without fully explaining the pros and cons of each situation. We signed off on every potential deal, and even when there was one deal that we didn't think was great, the DW team went back to the creditors and renegotiated for us. I can't emphasize enough how happy we are that we got into business with Donaldson Williams.

Of course I was skeptical. I had been ripped off before by a "mortgage renegotiation expert" in the not-to distant past. I did my research before going through with debt settlement at all. There are very few companies that operate in the manner that DW does. And the way DW operates is the most honest and motivated way any debt settlement mediation should be handled. After 18 months, we are finally rid of tens of thousands of dollars of debt to the tune of a few dimes on the dollar. It's not a miracle cure, but we avoided bankruptcy and are able to finally plan for the future.

You are going through a tumultuous time, while trying to get rid off your debts And most likely when you google you end up finding hundreds of companies one shadier than the other who promise to shave of thousands of dollars of your debts. And that's when you realize a company like Donaldson Williams is a boon. They are no frills, honest and pretty darn good at what they do. I would recommend them without a second thought.. I would never wish that somebody go through the pain of debt relief, but if you have to, these folks are the guys you would want to trust this job with.

I did quite a bit of research before deciding on Donaldson Williams, Inc. What I discovered: there are many companies and law firms to help you settle your debt but most want a fee up front, plus hourly service fees ON TOP of a % for settling your accounts. Donaldson Williams was the only company I found who --> doesn't take a fee unless the account is settled and their fee is based on what they 'saved' you so the incentive is there to settle the account in your favor. <-- The process was very easy to understand and we didn't receive collection calls or letters. They handled each settlement in a professional and speedy manner. They were easy to reach by phone or email. We have successfully settled 5 account within a 6 month time frame. If you still aren't sure, heed this advice: don't pay up front or hourly fees, it will only add to your debt and take much longer to complete the process.
