The Clinton Public Safety Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that safeguards lives and property, maintains law and order, and preserves peace through the enforcement of local, state and federal laws. It conducts a statewide multijuriscidtional campaign that is headed by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety and reduces alcohol-related collisions, injuries and fatalities through a decrease in impaired driving. The department provides child car seat and gun safety information. The Clinton Public Safety Department also offers volunteer services to check on senior citizens. It provides law enforcement services in cases related to drug abuse and traffic accidents. The department is located in Clinton, S.C.
