It provides members with access to more than 14,000 physicians and over 100 hospitals. The company offers a range of credentialing services. It is accredited by the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission. SuperMed PPO is managed by Medical Mutual of Ohio, which is one of the oldest and largest health insurance companies in Ohio. Founded in 1934, Medical Mutual of Ohio serves more than 1.5 million health care customers. It employs a work force of over 2,700 people and maintains operations in nearly 10 locations in Ohio.
