The Police Headquarters is a more than 20,000-square-foot, two-storey facility. It serves public housing residents of the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority in Cuyahoga County in Ohio. The facility houses over 60 police and administrative offices. The Police Headquarters also has a communication center and disaster planning and safety management division. It offers educational and training resources for police and security personnel. The facility houses a library and fitness center. The Police Headquarters has communication, security and data handling systems, including telephones and video surveillance cameras. It is a part of the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority Police Department, which is a law enforcement agency that enforces city, state and federal laws, as well as agency policies and procedures. It maintains a staff of approximately 130 people. The department is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
