• Full Body Massage$125
  This course is designed for the Esthetician or Cosmetologist to receive their full- body massage certification. By taking this course, an Esthetician or Cosmetologist may provide full body massage as part of a skin care treatment. Massage is a treatment that can be added to a salon for minimal cost and minimal space yet allow you to increase your income. You will receive hands-on massage techniques and learn about the application of products and their uses. In addition to your continuing education units each participant will qualify to be certified in massage for Ohio State Board of Cosmetology purposes.

Master the art of free-hand painting and change how we see foil highlights to give them an updated, soft look! Learn how to decide whether to foil vs. balayage and how we can combine the two for a dimensional, bright, beachy blonde that all of our guests are going to want going into spring!

  Our Cosmetology Course is designed to teach and allow each individual the opportunity to practice the art of hair styling on all types of hair. By the end of the cosmetology course, each student will have received 1500 hours of state board approved training. They will learn how to give a professional shampoo, learn the art of hair shaping and cutting. The cosmetology license is a general beauty license that will allow the licensee to work as a beautician, manicurist, esthetician or stylist. The student will be able to give a professional manicure and facial. They will also know how to mix hair colorings to achieve the desired shade and apply solution in a professional manner in order to receive optimum results. The student will learn to color hair, perm or relax hair and learn state board cutting techniques.

• Acrylic Nails
  Upon completion of the Manicuring course the student will have knowledge of nail wrapping, acrylic nails, sculpturing nail tips, anatomy, nail structure, oil manicures, water manicures, French manicures, nail irregularities, diseases and sanitation. A graduate of this course will be able to take the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology examination to be a Manicuring. A typical day will consist of a combination of theory, practical and clinical experiences. You’ll have a half hour break for lunch then get right back to it. This course gives you a lot of information in a short period of time so be ready to learn.

  Nail art is in high demand, especially during the holiday season. It's no longer just about gems and stripes… Think Out of The Box when creating nail art! Nail art will spice up your service menu and increase your bottom line. Start creating in living color. Water/gel marbling, 3-D art, appliques and the Ombre graduated color look are among a variety of nail art techniques that you will learn. Nail art has been an undying trend, but fewer and fewer nail techs are willing to spread their artistic wings. In this class you will learn that nail art is fun and easy, because… there are NO MISTAKES in art. You may bring your favorite nail art supplies if you want to try some techniques. Supplies include manikin hand or fingers, nail tips, art brushes, make-up sponge, orangewood stick, three polish colors, three gel colors, odorless white acrylic powder and liquid, white builder gel, base and top coats.

  This course will teach the student all aspects of artificial nails, free hand nail art, manicuring, corrective manicures, anatomy and physiology, nail chemistry, as well as proper sanitation and salon practices. Students will learn all techniques through classroom and clinic experience.   If you possess an eye for beauty, attention to detail, dexterity with your hands and a love to learn new skills, this threading class can lead you to an exciting future. Eyebrow Threading is a popular procedure that is non-invasive and very effective in achieving sharp and well-defined eyebrow lines. There are no waxes, chemicals and lotions involved in this procedure and its effect lasts up to four weeks before thinner hair grows back. Though threading first became popular in the Middle East and India, it has become well known in other parts of the world. It is easy to learn the techniques of eyebrow threading but it requires instruction, skill and talent to master it. Learn how to provide the perfect arch to create killer brows for every client. The class will review tools and supplies needed to practice threading.

  This introductory course will give you all of the important aspects of eyelash extensions, choosing the right candidate, proper procedure and technique, marketing tools, pricing for profit and client safety.
