Independence High School serves more than 300 students in grades nine through 12. Located in Independence, Ohio, the school is a part of the Independence Local School District. It provides classes in English, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, world languages, business, technology and physical education. The school has athletic teams in tennis, cross country, volleyball, football, swimming and diving, wrestling, basketball, soccer, golf, track and field, softball and baseball. It has various clubs, including spectator and bio society clubs. Independence High School s library offers various types of books, magazines, encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries and computer assisted programs. The school s activities include concert band, chorus, swing choir, yearbook, student council and the National Honor Society.
