Buckeye Business Products manufactures typewriter ribbons, correctible ribbons and data processing ribbons for many industrial and business customers. Its labels are produced in white, white perforated, color and color perforated styles. Its ribbons include wax, resin and wax resin. The company recently completed a three year transformation, investing more than $4 million in coating, slitting, die cutting and packaging equipment to increase its production of pressure-sensitive labels and thermal transfer ribbons. These products are sold to end-users, utilizing its in-house telemarketing department and a proprietary database used to identify customers who require bar-coding and packaging labels in their business applications. Buckeye was founded in 1896 as a manufacturer of carbon paper and inks. It is headquartered in Cleveland and is a subsidiary of Pubco Corporation.
