The Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board is responsible for the planning, funding and monitoring of public mental health services. The board works with more than 30 agencies to provide health care services to people who suffer from mental disorders, such as depression and schizophrenia. Additionally, The Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board provides services to people with cancer and diabetes. The board operates a 24-hour hot line and is locates in Cleveland. It publishes a variety of newsletters on health-related topics. The Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board supports the Adult Consumer Advisory Council, which offers advisory services related to the needs of mental health consumers.
