"Board-certified surgeon Dr. Stephanie Allen Lilly has known since high school that she wanted to be a physician. “I wanted to work in a job that impacted people positively,” says Allen Lilly, a former surgical services director at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in New Hampshire. As a provider with United Vein Centers in Clearwater, Florida, since 2016, Allen Lilly enjoys giving patients dramatic results with minimal discomfort. “Patients are always surprised after a procedure about how quickly it went and how little pain was involved,” says Allen Lilly. Her experience performing ultrasound-guided surgeries spans more than a decade. “When you’re able to solve a problem for your patients – like restless legs or leg pain – and they feel so much better, it’s really gratifying.” A self-described hands-on physician, Allen Lilly shepherds her patients through every step of their journey at UVC. “I’m very detail-oriented, and I try to be available for any questions my patients may have,” she says."
