- Smoking CessationProf. Suskin assessed the risk factors for patients who had mild stroke during the previous year and found out that those who underwent outpatient cardiac rehab for nearly eight months significantly reduced their risk of having a stroke. The rehab process included programs relating to drug management, smoking cessation, nutrition education and dealing with psychological issues.
- ElectrocardiogramLayna Hatfield is our medical assistant and started at the practice in the summer of 2017. She attended Troy University, where she played college-level soccer and will begin her nursing school journey in August. She enjoys building relationships with and getting to know our patients and assisting with EKGs. In her free time, Layna enjoys spending time with her family, going to church and hiking.
