Mill Creek East Elementary is a public school that has an enrollment of more than 500 students. Located in Clayton, Ind., the school educates students in prekindergarten through grade five. Founded in 1973, its campus includes a group instruction room, gymnasium, classrooms, and computer, science and activity labs. The school also has a resource room to serve students with learning disabilities. Its core curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and language arts. In addition to classroom instruction, the school offers scheduled classes in music, art, physical education, and library and computer skills. Its after-school programs include math and spell bowls, student council, and latch key before- and after-school care programs.
