Provided by YP.comIf you're looking to get a puppy or a dog, look elsewhere!!! We adopted our current dog from here six years ago and the adoption process for him went great. Recently my family and I have been looking for a puppy and we finally found one that we really liked at Precious Friends and were going to go ahead and adopt it. After filling out a lengthy application, we had to wait around for an hour as they interrogated every inch of it. After many questions later our application was finally approved. The next step was to do a meet and greet with the pup. Saying that we had to bring our current dog into the shelter to meet the pup, I went home to pick him up and my sister and I drove back while my mother drove her car home. When my sister and I drove back to the shelter, they said that they needed my mother present to sign the contract even though they said she could sign it next Monday since she's going out of town. So we ended up leaving without a meet and greet or anything. Since the puppy we wanted is to be shipped out on Wednesday, there is no way for us to get it because my mom will be out of town. Their adoption policies are ridiculous, unnecessary, and overly strict. They go back on their word and the staff isn't the least bit friendly. There are plenty of animal shelters around, but I strongly encourage you to steer clear of this one. You'll be thankful you did.

Provided by YP.comTerrible!!! They were holding a puppy for me, they had my application for over a week. They wouldn't answer their phone or email. Then they let someone else adopt her. Their excuse was they were too busy to call my vet for a reference. Such bull!!
