There are many other pain clinics and one just opening! Google around clarksville! Don't go to this one you will wait for hours and still be rescheduled bc he either doesn't come in or he says he wants to leave early bc if an emergency! Lies!

I wouldn't even give him a star! He makes people wait hours the longest was 9 hours for a nurse to give me my scripts and never saw the dr. The last time I saw him was in September 2014 in a face to face. Can't go to anyone new bc he holds the records hostage for months.

Cons: minor: Very hard to actually get a live person on the phone, most of the time. ***The MAIN **MAJOR*** CON is the WAIT time!!! I have waited in that office and his old office (on dunbar cave) before for more than 5 hours!! Its ridiculous! The worst time was in the new office on chesapeake and it was in march 2011, I had been there since 830am and finally at 1:35 was escorted to the back ( where I sat waiting again ) and after abt 20 minutes there , then I was escorted to Dr. Maccarone's office. I left the building approx. 2:25! ( that part. day ,m any ppl were complaining & threatening to change providers. - con: no children allowed- no one under 16 can even come in the bldg even to wait in the lobby! PROS: ONLY REASON WHY I GAVE A 3 STAR 7 ONLY REASON I CONTINUE TO GO HERE IS BECAUSE OF DR.MACCARONE! HE IS A GREAT DR. HE REALLY LISTENS TO YOU,TAKES HIS TIME & ANSWERS ANYTHING?S YOU MAY HAVE. I always go in w/a note of things to discuss and we go right down every one!

I found Dr. Maccarone to be very personable and highly knowledgable. My wait time was only 15 minutes and he was very thorough with my abnormal test results and recommendations for specialty consultation. I would highly recommend Dr. Maccarone and Gateway Medical Associates for your Primary Care Needs.
