I received an appraisal from SC Lenk and it was totally in accurate. Home comparisons did not match the level of our home and location. I even provided the appraiser with 4 comps of recent sales in a subdivision 1 mile down the road and all were ignored even though this subdivision was used in our original appraisal 2 years ago. Instead, homes in a lesser subdivision 3.5 miles away were used. SC Lenk has no interest in using accurate comps and did not even consider the additional data I provided to them.If you are looking to refinance do not use this company. Their poor appraisal and refusal to use the data I provided prove the company is not interested in accuracy, but getting the job done as quickly as possible with as little effort as possible. Main factor is that this appraiser only takes ONE comp. Does not take the average of the three.
