- OrthopedicsAdam West, PT, DPT, OCS graduated from WVU in 2003. He completed an orthopedic manual physical therapy residency from Evidence In Motion in 2008. Adam has been recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as a board certified specialist in orthopedics since 2010. Adam is also certified in functional dry needling and Graston IASTM. Adam joined Mountain State Physical Therapy as the clinical director of the Shinnston clinic in December of 2005. Adam currently serves as the vice president of operations for Mountain State Physical Therapy and continues to treat patients at the Shinnston location. When not working, you can usually find Adam at a ball field or basketball gym with his boys.

- Aquatic TherapySamuel Belcastro currently works at our Weston & Fairmont locations. Sam started as a student-athlete and was part of the Seton Hill, WVU, and Fairmont State baseball programs from 2007-2011. Sam graduated from Fairmont State University in 2012, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. He also received an Associates in Physical Therapy, in 2014, from Pierpont Community and Technical College. Sam has been Licensed, from the WV Board of PT, as a PTA, with over 9 years of experience. Most of his experience has been in the Outpatient setting. Sam has a wide variety of skills involving, (Manual therapy techniques that include, Muscle Energy Techniques, IASTM (Rock Blades), ROCKTAPE level 1 certified, and Myofascial Release. Sam has several years of experience with postural corrective exercise and aquatic therapy. Sam enjoys working with every patient population and utilizing his skills, to help people improve their physical abilities, reach their ADL goals, and restore their overall function.
