Dr. Flickinger received her bachelor's degree from Villanova University and received her doctor of optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Dr. Flickinger served her externship at both Northeastern Eye Institute and Ft. Jackson Army Base in Columbia, South Carolina, where she provided eye care to nearly two thousand soldiers. While at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, she was granted clinic honors throughout the entire course of her internship and externship, with special recognition in pediatric optometry.
