The Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, also known as PVHMC, is a nonprofit, 450-plus-bed acute care facility. Founded in 1903, it is accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital offers community-focused cancer education, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, support and recovery services. It provides mammography, ultrasound and MRI services. The Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center serves the citizens of eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties in California. The hospital offers treatment for heart and kidney diseases. It conducts cardiovascular, orthopedics and genitourinary surgeries. The hospital has more than 650 physicians, over 3,000 employees and nearly 970 volunteers. The Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center also offers medical services for various sleep disorders.
