      General Info

      The lil school serves children from 6 weeks to 10 years old. We have classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, pre-K, private Kindergarten, before and after school and summer youth camps. During the school year we use the Creative Curriculum as our core curriculum, with additional phonics, reading, mathematics and science for the kindergarten program. In addition, we offer extra curriculum-activities such as Tennis, Music, Spanish and Gym. (and parent's night out one saturday per month). The Creative Curriculum is a play-based curriculum, which blends some of the leading educational theories of Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Gardner. Our mission is to provide every child in our care with a loving, safe, developmentally appropriate and culturally-inclusive environment where they will grow through discovery of self, community and surroundings. We view education as a partnership between the parents, the teachers and the community. By offering an engaging curriculum and environment, it is our aspiration that every child enrolled in the Lil School will develop an appreciation and openness to the world around them, a positive self-esteem and self-confidence and a lifelong love for learning.
