Excellent for breakfast and Lunch. I have been going there for approximately 21 years and have yet to have a bad meal. The prices are reasonable, they have a senior menu and daily specials.The manager and staff are willing to go above and beyond normal business practices to make sure we customers get a good meal. It is a clean restaurant, rated in the top ten in the Sacramento area for "classic" breakfast and lunch menu items. You get a lot of food for the price.If you are there at 6am you will find many of the regulars including quite a few Sheriff's deputies. Bottom line: The staff is friendly, the food is good and the prices are reasonable.

My friends and I have eaten breakfast at the Country Waffle for just over 20 years. We know the staff personally and recommend it highly for a sit down restaurant. On any given morning you may find up to eight or ten deputy sheriffs eating breakfast there, after the graveyard shift is over. If you are like me you have heard the good places to eat are where the truckers and law enforcement go. Enough said.Oh, look for a two for one coupon in the Sunday paper or in Valpak.
