I love the food the buffet is second to none and the owners daughter is a serious entrepaneur

Had take-out from here last Friday. Ordered a plain naan and paneer saag. The naan was cold when I took it out about 15 minutes later. Not just "not hot" - but COLD. As for the paneer saag... I believe that you can judge an Indian restaurant by its paneer saag and this was abhorrent. I could not finish my meal and certainly will not go back. Come on eastside, we can do better than this!

The food is really not that good.. Its like they re heat up the food from the day before.. The sanitation is really bad as well. I rather go eat in some nice place than this place.. I am telling it isnt worth at all.

My husband I used to live in Clifton and eat Indian food from the resturants there regularly. When we moved to the east side I was worried that I would no longer be able to enjoy good Indian cuisine close to home. I am so very happy to say I was wrong. I have yet to order anything off their menu that is not good... one word of warning their curry chicken is a little spicer than a lot of the Clifton resturants... I normally ordered a "3" at Ambar, but I had to knock it down to a 2 at Royal Taj.

I am Indian, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding.The customer service was great and Offcourse India is Great Than That of Other Countries.I am very proud to be an Indian.REGARDS - Ashish Pandey ( Mumbai, India )
