Clyde has been associated with Peoples Church of Cincinnati for 48 years: 4 as Assistant Pastor, 32 as Lead Pastor, 12 as Pastor Emeritus. He was a founding member of the Cincinnati Teen Challenge drug rehab program, secretary to the 1977 Billy Graham Crusade committee, a founding board member of Citizens for Community Values. He has served as Assistant Superintendent to the 270 Assemblies of God Churches of the Ohio Ministry Network and concludes 39 years on the state governing Presbyter board in May of 2013. He serves the local church as hospital chaplain, making calls, conducting funerals and weddings. Clyde also enjoys supplying as pulpit speaker for churches across the state of Ohio. To the children of the Peoples Church, he is known as "Pastor Gumball! He and his wife, Anita have 3 children and 4 grand children whom they love dearly. Clyde enjoys around of golf when possible.
