I work for first student in Canada, and can honestly say for each passing year I'm getting more frustrated. Each run I get is shorter, they no longer fix the bus right away. The majority of our buses are at a park out yard with no lights, washroom, or indoor facility. All these drivers huddle in their frozen cars in winter -40, and we can't idle the buses more than 3 min. We have had a rediculous amount of breakdowns this year, couple of schools getting angry with the company. It's funny the head office refuses to replace our cracked frame, leaking fuel tank 1992 ford F250 service truck, but they find the cash for the zonar system, that will cause more headaches, electronics always work in freezing temp :( After First spent $300 X40000 equipping each bus with child check, then thieft mate. They put in the scanner for pre trip and child check, making the other system redundant. My scanner already malfunctioned after one day. FirstGroup You know where you can stick your scanner!
