The Colerain Township Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services offers a range of fore suppression and prevention services. Established in 1975, the department operates public safety division that provides fire inspection and public education services. The Colerain Township Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services also maintains a training division and citizen's fire academy. The department provides fire investigation and vehicle repair and maintenance services. It maintains a fleet of several water tankers, rescue boats and paramedic units.
