General Info
Established in 1990, Cincinnati History Museum is one of the largest urban history museums in the United States. The museum displays materials and related aspects of the history of Cincinnati and the surrounding region. Its permanent exhibits include a recreation of the Cincinnati Public Landing of the late 1850s, and a 94-foot side-wheel steamboat. The museum also has a large home-front exhibit on World War II and an actual 1940s streetcar. It displays a model of the city of Cincinnati from 1900s to 1940s with working trains and inclines, as well as interactive computer stations. The museum offers special activities for children, including negotiating a canal boat through a 50-foot model of the Miami and Erie Canal, and imagining floating down the Ohio River on a child-sized flatboat. It also projects Cincinnati s role during the Civil War through historical sceneries, music and recordings of letters, and words from people. The museum is located in Cincinnati.

My wife and I attended the Museum Center Imax showing of the Hubble Telescope and thoroughly enjoyed the movie. We were at the Museum for about an hour and half. The parking cost us $6.00 bucks. There is no safe alternative for parking anywhere in the area so parking at the Museum Center lot is a necessity. The management must know that and so they feel certain that those who wish to attend the Museum will park in their lot. Six bucks is a little pricey for us. Why not give your patrons a break on parking? The museum itself is a great attraction but I really think you should rethink your policy on the cost of parking.
