Since its inception in 1970, the Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT) has been specializing in abuse recovery, substance abuse counseling, and treating drug and alcohol addictions, chemical abuse, and drug and alcohol abuse. CAT also provides addiction counseling and habit control services. The various treatment options include outpatient treatment, short-term residential treatment, and medication assisted treatment. CAT offers supportive services like Aftercare Program, Peer Mentor Program, and resources. It has been certified by the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services (OMHAS) to engage in outpatient and residential treatment programs. The Ohio and Kentucky State Medical and Nursing Boards have approved CAT as a provider of drug and alcohol treatment. CAT is located at Cincinnati, Ohio, and caters to West End.
