Hilltop Middle School is a public school that offers academic programs to more than 1,350 students in grades seven and eight. It is a part of the Sweetwater Union High School District and is located in Chula Vista, Calif. The school teaches several subjects, including English, math, foreign languages, science, social science, and health and physical education. Its amenities include a cafeteria, band room, computer lab, auditorium, and community resource, counseling, library media and parent centers. The school employs a staff of over 100 full-time certified teachers that includes speech and language specialists, psychologists, guidance counselors and nurses. In addition, it has a team of paraprofessionals and custodians. Hilltop Middle School organizes numerous before- and after-school programs, such as Club Teen Connection and Breakfast Club.
