Our experienced coaches strive to ensure that each child in our program feels special. Our goals are to offer every child the best professional instruction in a well organized gym and fun-filled and controlled learning environment. We emphasize correct form, proper technique, and precise execution. We help each of our team members master the skills that will take them where their gymnastics dreams come true. Virginia Techniques wants each gymnast to reach their full potential safely, happily, and successfully! We feel that competitive gymnastics will teach our girls to never give up or to be afraid of a challenge. Gymnasts learn self discipline, self motivation, time management, respect, sportsmanship, dedication, leadership, concentration, team work, nutrition and physical fitness. There is no other activity that better develops a strong body and an active mind! They will have many memorable experiences that will stay with them throughout their lives and help them reach their ultimate dreams and desires!

We joined Virginia Techniques 3 years ago and my children have not been happier. My 8 year old twins have each found their niche at the gym. It is wonderful to be at a gym that values each child and helps each one achieve his or her own goals. One of my children has chosen to participate on the competitive team. She gets excellent instruction from the experienced coaches and continues to grow and develop as a competitive gymnast. My other child loves the recreational class that he participates in each week. Virginia Techniques has a diversified program that meets the needs of every family. The coaches truly care about the children and work with them to build self-esteem, confidence and physical awareness. This is an incredible place to send your child. It is run by coaches who are safety certified and truly care about your child. After having experienced other gyms, I am so glad we picked Virginia Techniques. My child has thrived under the supervision of the coaches and she never leaves practice without hugging all of her teammates and coaches! I would suggest any parent looking for a gym in SW Virginia, to log on the VTGI website and come by and watch an open practice. You can see and hear exactly what and how the coaches are interacting with your child. I cannot say enough great things about this gym! I have also been able to pay for my child's competition fees with many fundraisers throughout the year - which has been a big help financially. I highly recommend this gym and all the coaches.
This gym is wonderful. The coaches are just GREAT! They really care about the children!! They are safety certified. The coaches are very patient with my daughter. They have given her the self confidence that she needs. From my experience Virginia Techniques is the best gym in the area! I would encourage you to try this gym! My daughter has been part of the Virginia Techniques family for 1 year now and it has been the best experience ever for her! Her confidence has just gone sky high since we have joined this gym!! She has learned many new skills the proper and safe way! I would highly recommend this gym.
