I have been a Christiansburg's Lowes customer for 16 years. Today I went to purchase wooden trellises and asked for help to get them down from a high shelf and out on the cart. It took me a while to find someone in Lowes attire. Eventually I approached a young gentlemen who reluctantly agreed to serve. When he started loading two trellises I chose I noticed that they had a thick layer of dust. I told him that I recently had shoulder surgery and will need his help to load them on the car after the dust is cleaned. Eventually (very slowly) he pushed the cart near the cashier and disappeared. The cashier (a mid-aged man whom I saw for the first time) scanned the tags. After I told him that I will not pay until the dust is cleaned as I do not want them as they are in my car the cashier responded that this is "not his job". I said that he could call for help. "You need to wait" was his response and he started serving another client. At that point I left. One hour later I called and asked to speak to the manager. I introduced myself, but the manager did not. I asked for her name and got the first name only. Then I asked for her family name getting in response a sound I had no clue what it was. She listened to my story and said that she will follow up. I will send an update if I ever hear from
