Horrible salon!!!! After having my hair highlighted for years I decided to try a salon closer to home. My mistake was choosing this salon (if you can call it that). I was told after specifically asking for someone who had a higher level of experience that new customers needed to see the lower level stylists. That should have served as a warning. At my appt I was very clear on my request on highlighting and It would require me to go under dryer to achieve highlight level as has always been necessary with my dark hair. Stylist took 2 & 1/2 hours to foil, refused to put me under dryer. My highlights were 3 different colors of bright orange. It was hideous looking, the stylist AND the owner played it down as if it was nothing. The owner insisted I come back to fix it and immediately after asked if I've ever had breakage from highlighting! I was mortified at the thought of them touching my hair again. I left with my hair half cut, literally one inch longer on one side because she only did half the cut. To top off the wonderful experience the owner then proceeded to have me pay for the hair cut! Reluctantly I paid what she was asking me to pay knowing if a salon would do that to an unsatified customer then it was a lesson learned! I would NEVER EVER go back to this salon and wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values their hair!

About 3 months after moving to this area, I became desperate to avoid driving 45 miles in order to pay LOTS for a good haircut. So, I decided to give Designer's Salon Spa a try. Michele, the owner, did such a great job that I haven't considered going anywhere else since that day. Ashley also does a great job on my nails for about half what I was paying in the city. SUPER quality without trudging into the cities.
