Bidwell Title & Escrow is the only 100 percent locally-owned and operated company in Butte County. The company provides title insurance, escrow services, bulk sale business transfers, foreclosure services, notary, new construction, refinancing, loan escrows, business opportunities, manufactured housing transfers, 1031 exchanges and assists with all aspects of real property and business transfers. In addition, Bidwell offers a full-line of home, auto, health and commercial insurance through Bidwell Insurance Agency. The organization began in 1913 as Kipp Abstract Company and in 1929 incorporated Oroville Title Company. Bidwell is headquartered in Chico, Calif. and has offices in Paradise, Oroville and Gridley.
