Wolcott, Wood and Taylor was established in 1999 to provide medical billing services to the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital. The company transmits claims electronically to Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare and various commercial insurances. Its objective is to maximize departmental income while ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws. Provided services include, but are not limited to, patient billing statements, insurance complaints and appeals, follow-up claims, managed care contract and fee schedule review, insurance verifications and authorizations, patient billing inquiries, referral and authorization tracking and electronic claim transmissions.
