My mom and I used Kragness since I was 4 years old. I am 54. I initially took my own dogs there beginning with a Rottweiler. At the time he tried to warn me of the negative behavior of Rottweilers. That was so far from the truth with this dog. 12 years later I had Cane Corsos. He had a fabulous vet Dr Seals. She was very supportive and great in educating me. She soon left. When I returned with my male he tried to convince me how vicious these dogs are. Again so far from the truth. Today my moms shitz shu was boarded as she had been hospitalized. Receptionist EXTREMELY rude as was Dr Kragness. The services they were asked to do had not been done. Be cautious
I've taken my cats there for years, and have found all staff members to be quite terrific. One of the cats had diabetes and I had to rush him in immediately, and they would see him right away. Also, one got suddently sick, and I ran in without appointment of phone call, and again, they took him immediately. I've always been very pleased.

Superb care at reasonable rates. Cared for our family's pets for over 25 years. Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable - FAR BETTER THAN ANY OTHER VET IN CHICAGO!
We have found them to be exceptionable with the animals as far as care and caring. I have found myself having to call at all hours and getting immediate response and help. The vet has also called to check on our dog throughout his illness and treatment.
Treated my dog for months for a bladder infection. Never checked further till *I* asked for exploritory surgery. Vet called me, said she had cancer like it was a comon cold. Too late for her, need to euthanize and will do it now. I told them I wanted to be with her. They said to hurry, they were going to close for lunch soon.COLD. 2nd incident:My young daughter's show dog suddenly got very ill and cried out one afternoon, she was being treated for Lupus. I told my daughter, who's Dad recently died in an accident, to take her dog in. We knew it was time. I called Kragness and told them she was coming, I was leaving work and would come straight there to pay. My daughter got to the vet in tears, her dying dog in her arms, when she was told they couldn't help her their policy was immediate payment.# 3:They spayed our Pom. We switched vets by now. The Pom had cronic 'bladder problems'. She needed surgery,Kragness left pieces of her uterus in her. #4 Dogs don't have names, just case numbers
