Dr. Yousef Zaffarkhan was born and raised in Chicago and began his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, IL. Dr. Zaffarkhan earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, before going on to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, known as the oldest and most trusted institution in the profession. As an active member in the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the West Loop Community Organization, Dr. Zaffarkhan is committed to impacting the lives of as many people as possible in a positive way and helping them achieve and maintain an optimal state of health and wellness. On a humanitarian mission to Vietnam he helped treat nearly 4,000 under-privileged men, women and children and saw first hand the benefits of chiropractic care. Dr. Zaffarkhan is passionate about empowering his patients to take an active role in their health. His knowledge, compassion and experience have resulted in a high percentage of success with both chronic complaints and the treatment of recent injuries. As the founder and primary practitioner at Body Works Health & Wellness, Dr. Zaffarkhan, brings an innovative approach to Chiropractic Medicine. He is certified in Diversified, Thompson, and Gonstead spinal manipulation techniques, physiotherapy and spinal rehabilitation. He is also experienced in ART (Active Release Technique), AO (Atlas Orthogonal technique), SOT (Sacral Occipital Technique), Flexion Distraction, Clinical Biomechanics of Posture (CBP) and the Activator technique.??
