The Domestic Relations Division is a part of the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County in Illinois. It provides access to official court forms and offers assistance in filling and completing the paperwork necessary for filing civil orders of protection. The division handles cases related to legal separations and custodies and visitations, as well as the dissolution and invalidity of marriages. The Domestic Relations Division also provides legal assistance. It supports Coordinated Advice and Referral Program for Legal Services, which assists postdecree customers. The division s case files include information, such as plaintiff's complaints, defendant's responses, certificates of evidence and judge's final decrees with the terms of settlement.
