Dr. Edginton has been in practice since graduating from The National University of Health Sciences in 2001. He has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in Ontario Canada, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the National College of Chiropractic. He is certified in MDT, more commonly known as the McKenzie Method. In October 2014 he was accredited by the federal government as a Registered Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation. Since graduating from Chiropractic school, Dr. Chris has worked in a mix of hospital settings, in private practice alongside medical colleagues, and in Chiropractic clinics with Physical Therapy services. This variety has lent itself to a wide variety of patient experiences and conditions treated, from sports injuries to chronic aches and pains to spinal disc herniations. Specific to the American Back Center, Dr. Chris has years experience with VaxD Spinal Decompression, which is a non-surgical treatment for herniated spinal discs in the neck and low back. His VaxD patients are often looking to avoid surgery. He has treated discs that cause mild but chronic pain to extruded discs that are often more acute and severely painful. Dr. Chris’ approach often uses a combination of VaxD and Physical Therapy for maximum results.
