Established in 1981, The Suzuki-Orff School of Music is a nonprofit organization that offers music instruction classes for children. The school occupies more than 7,500 square feet of space. It organizes sessions on percussion instruments for children up to the age of 4. It provides courses for the cello, flute, guitar, piano, violin and viola. The Suzuki-Orff School of Music provides private lesson on a variety of ethnic rhythm instruments. In addition, the school offers training programs to play rhythm sticks, xylophones, glockenspiels and drums. It is a member of the Chicago Consortium of Community Music Schools. The Suzuki-Orff School of Music is located in Chicago.
