Specilizing in small press and hard to find indie comics titles, we also carry almost all available superhero titles and merchandise. With our sister store Quimby's ( located at 1854 W. North Ave. and on the web at www.quimbys.com ), we have kept our focus simple. The best comics on Earth can be found here, from the finest in mainstream press to the best new talent from up-and-comers!Behind the counter is our wall of highly collectible key issue comic books. If you're looking for more expensive Golden and Silver Age backstock, and you can't find it in our backstock bins, chances are we may have it behind the counter. Ask and yee shall receive! We also have a HUGE backstock collection. Yes, those are drawers filled to the brim with backstock. Don't see something you're looking for? Ask! We may have more issues you're looking for in the basement. There are only so many books we can bag & board in one week! Reviews
This place is great, it has all your mainstream comics as well as indie comics to little self published zines. They occasionally have authors and artists come in to sign. Its a great place, and the workers are friendly.
Excellent comic store. One of the best in the city.
If there is anything you need or want in the culture that is comic books and fan boy stuff this is the place to go. I have bought so much stuff there that wasnt even comic book related, and a lot of stuff that was. I have been able to bring friends in there who arent into comics at all and they arent bored, there is plenty to look at and browse through for everyone. If you do bring kids though keep a close eye on them because there is a more adult section that they could walk into. But other than that its very open to anyone.
