General Info
Step back in time to an old world café with all the charm of the late 19th to early 20th century. Situated in a row house built in the 1890's, the Bourgeois Pig is a literary enthusiast's dream come true. Most of our sandwiches and salads are named after classic novels with many a clever nod or reference, and the upstairs resembles a Victorian gentleman's library with a working gas fireplace, antique oil paintings, and literally thousands of antique and vintage books to peruse. In fact, there is a book nook upstairs that is the entrance to the soon to be opening Gatsby speakeasy, it will be open in the evenings after 6 for classic cocktails, beer and wine. Entrance will be permitted via the hostess by password after entering through the secret book nook doorway, but that's another story for another time...I digress. The Pig features a myriad of specialty coffee and tea drinks, with coffee and espresso by Julius Meinl of Vienna. Music is classical & jazz, and our patio is amazing!Step back in time to an old world café with all the charm of the late 19th to early 20th century.
