Dr. Semaan specializes in the treatment of cancers of the female reproductive system, including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, vaginal cancer, cervical cancer and vulvar cancer with emphasis on minimally invasive surgery. His expertise extends to the field of advanced pelvic surgery for complex benign gynecologic disease and single incision robotic surgery He has published extensively in this field,including in the areas of molecular and cancer biology, Gynecologic Cancer Health Disparities ,and biomarker discovery in gynecologic cancer. He has developed his interpersonal skills by interacting with a variety of patients and through understanding different cultures by reading and traveling. He very much values the sacred relationship between physician and patient, governed by mutual respect and trust.
