Archer Heights Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution. The members control this institution through an annual election of a board of directors from the membership. The credit union is chartered and supervised by the state of Illinois and insured by National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government. It exists to provide its members with financial products and services including savings account, checking account, direct deposit of recurring payment, wire transfers, and debit cards. It also offers other services such as money orders, free notary services, cashier checks, gift checks and traveler checks. Archer Heights Credit Union is headquartered in Chicago.
