CALOR is a division of Anixter Center, which is a nonprofit organization and serves more than 5,000 disabled children and adults. The division offers housing services for individuals suffering from AIDS. It provides a range of employment and job placement programs. CALOR also offers transportation assistance and homemaker services. The division provides counseling, education, and testing programs for HIV screening. It also offers prevention and referral services for sexually transmitted diseases. CALOR provides assessment programs for commercial sex workers, physically disabled individuals and non-English speakers. Located in Chicago, the organization also offers mental health care and abuse treatment services.
