With a presence in Chicago, Ada S. McKinley Community Services offers mental health services for children with mental and developmental disabilities. The agency provides assistance with issues related to interpersonal relationships, school functioning, family disputes and peer interactions. It offers long-term counseling and behavioral intervention services for children with developmental delays, learning disorders and adaptive problems. Ada S. McKinley Community Services features psychiatric assessment, psychiatric evaluation and advocacy programs. In addition, the agency operates the Urban Systems of Care program that addresses issues faced by families coping with unemployment, social conditions, health care, housing and general safety. It also provides crisis intervention and educational services.
