General Info
The Wyoming Tribune-Eagle is one of Wyoming's largest, locally-owned daily newspapers. It has a circulation of close to 16,500 daily subscribers and 18,500 on Sundays. Headquartered in Cheyenne, the paper is distributed throughout southeast Wyoming, with the majority of circulation within Laramie County. The newspaper is a business with nearly 100 full-time employees and approximately 30 part-time employees. The Wyoming Tribune-Eagle is part of the Wyoming Newspaper Group, an affiliation of newspapers with joint ownerships and interests, along with the Laramie Daily Boomerang, the Rawlins Daily Times, the Rock Springs Daily Rocket-Miner and the Northern Wyoming Daily News in Worland, Wyo. It is primarily-owned by the McCraken family, with a few non-family members owning shares of the company. The McCraken family is responsible for the longest continuous ownership in the history of the company, dating back to 1926.
