Established as an educational ministry in 1884 by the sisters of the Holy Child, St. Mary’s Catholic School exists to strengthen and pass on the values and teachings of the Catholic faith. We will provide the people of Cheyenne and the State of Wyoming with an educational model that promotes high academic standards and develops students with a strong sense of civic and social responsibility and moral leadership.Through a strong sense of family, community, and stewardship, St. Mary’s provides educational excellence by offering a curriculum that challenges the intellectual ability, individual talents and learning strengths of each student. Through a safe learning environment, our school community affirms the dignity and uniqueness of each person and nurtures and encourages the spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of each student.
