Services / Products
I offer reward based training and behavior modification for puppies and adult dogs through private sessions at your home and/or public classes. At PawsWISE, you'll learn to teach your dog the focus, self control and manners that enable him to be your best friend and partner. PawsWISE also offers help for the dog who displays fearful or aggressive behaviors, using sound; sciences based and force free behavior modification. Training is based on the solid science of positive reinforcement, infused with compassion. I believe dogs need structure and predictability in their lives and that we give it to them by rewarding them for offering the behaviors we want, while managing and preventing those we don't. Private Consults: Not all behaviors issues can be addressed in classes or you may want to jump start your dog's training with a private session. I will come to your home, assess your dog's history, environment, temperament and behavior, and then help you develop specific goals and strategies. I work with your dog and coach you so that you can train successfully between sessions. Behaviors that are usually best dealt with privately include but are not limited to: * Becoming Overexcited Easily - Poor Impulse Control * Dog to Dog or Dog to Person Aggressiveness * Fearfulness * Inability to Focus in New Environments * Separation Anxiety * Shyness * Toy or Food Guarding Day training: I train your dog in your home
