- Criminal DefenseAfter law school, Mr. Daraie served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office. He worked in the Criminal Division, writing and arguing criminal appeals before the Wyoming Supreme Court. He transferred to the Civil Division where he practiced administrative and contract law, representing various State agencies including the Wyoming Board of Land Commissioners, State Loan and Investment Board, and the Industrial Siting Council. In 2015, Mr. Daraie joined the Tort Litigation section of the Attorney General’s Office, focusing on trial work and representing State employees and peace officers in civil-rights, personal-injury, and contract cases.

In that role, he worked with other students, faculty, and local prosecutors to draft briefs and provide oral argument in criminal cases.
