Criminal Law

  After law school, Mr. Daraie served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office. He worked in the Criminal Division, writing and arguing criminal appeals before the Wyoming Supreme Court. He transferred to the Civil Division where he practiced administrative and contract law, representing various State agencies including the Wyoming Board of Land Commissioners, State Loan and Investment Board, and the Industrial Siting Council. In 2015, Mr. Daraie joined the Tort Litigation section of the Attorney General’s Office, focusing on trial work and representing State employees and peace officers in civil-rights, personal-injury, and contract cases.

  Ms. Vozakis joined the firm in 2012 and works primarily out of the Evanston office. Her practice includes estate planning, trust and probate administration, business law, real estate, guardian and conservatorships, and adoptions.

  Prior Experience: Mr. Daraie has a somewhat diverse legal background. During law school, he interned with the General Counsel’s Office for the University of Wyoming, assisting with contract, property, and employment issues. He also served as the student director for the College of Law’s Prosecution Assistance Program. In that role, he worked with other students, faculty, and local prosecutors to draft briefs and provide oral argument in criminal cases.

He also externed for the ACLU of Colorado and Rathod Mohamedbhai, a civil rights and employment law firm in Denver, CO. After law school, Mr. Hartnett worked as a law clerk for Schroth, Schroth & Madigan focusing on trial work in personal injury, business litigation and criminal law.
