Jason Jennings, MD, has a passion for treating patients with joint pain and returning them to an active lifestyle. His unique perspective, which developed through years of practice as a physical therapist, enables him to offer an array of non-operative and operative treatments based on each patients lifestyle and expectations.Dr. Jennings has authored over 75 scholarly articles in the area of knee and hip replacement. He was honored with the James A. Rand Award in 2019 by the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons for his efforts in knee-related research. Additionally, he was an author on the Rose Excellence in Research Award paper in 2020 given by the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Research Committee. Dr. Jennings dedication to surgery and research led to his selection as one of two North American surgeons for the prestigious John N. Insall Knee Society Travelling Fellowship in 2017.When hes not treating patients, Dr. Jennings is a volunteer surgeon for Operation Walk Denver, a charitable organization which provides free surgical treatment for patients in developing countries. He is also a member of Operation Walk USA, a nationwide charitable program that provides qualified patients with free hip and knee replacement surgery.Dr. Jenningshas been honored with the following awards for his expertise:2019 Rand Award from the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons for demonstrating clinical excellence in knee-related research.2020 Rose Excellence in Research Award from the American Physical Therapy Association for researching improved recovery for total knee replacement patients.
